Marathons were getting popular. Maybe too popular. The entry fees were getting way too expensive and if we’re being honest here the herd of joggers were getting way too slow. We discovered that runners were putting on their own unsanctioned races to by-pass all of this. So we decided to support these unsanctioned events. Unofficially of course.
